8th Grade Albright

Coach Tyrone Albright
As a player, I was a point guard and co-captain 2000-2002 at Onondaga Community College. My sophomore season, I averaged 10 points, 12 assist and 7 rebounds per game. I hold records for Single Season assists per game, Single Season assists, Single Game assists, Career assists per game, Career assists, and Career Steals. I was selected to 2002 MSAC All-Conference First Team and 2002 Arthur Ashe Sports Scholars Third Team. I am an Onondaga Community College Sports Hall of Fame Induction Class of 2008, as well as Onondaga Community College Distinguished Alumni Award Alumni Faces Honoree 2008. In 2002 I transferred to Syracuse University as a player and member of the NCAA Division I National Champion 2003 team.
As a coach, I have over 14 years of AAU coaching and training experience with the Syracuse Select Program. I have coached youth aging from 11-16 years old. Many players have gone on to be successful high school varsity and college players.

Coach Dustin Sands
As a player, I was shooting guard at Oswego High School. Averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds per game. Selected to the Third All Conference team senior year and selected to play in the final year of the Zebra Classic, where I averaged 15 points and 7 rebounds over 2 games. Out of high school, I went to OCC where I was shooting guard for Coach Pasiak. I played a backup role my first year of college. I worked hard over the summer and received a D2 scholarship for Pasco Hernando College down in Florida. I only played a few games before a season injury causing me to come back to Oswego. After recovering, I made the decision to join the military. After receiving Honor Grad during the Marine Corps boot camp along with many other awards, I decided to come back and do what I loved, which is basketball.
As a coach, out of the Marine Corps I reconnected with Coach Pudney, and he gave me the opportunity to coach a 5th grade team at the Boys and Girls club, along with my Winter League 8th grade team. This will be my first year coaching AAU but I am familiar with AAU as I played AAU for Pudney and along with other teams when I was younger.
